Information is protected by a series of safeguards, including 2048-bit asymmetric encryption, restricted digital access, and a secure physical environment within the United States of America. Access to Information is granted only to employees of Stran when the Information is required to perform a specific function.
Stran may retain Information for up to ten (10) years after a transaction or account termination. Under limited circumstances, Stran will release Information to federal, state, or local law enforcement upon receipt of subpoena or valid judicial instruction.
At any time, any user may request to modify or delete their Information, or to opt out of receiving marketing material, or cease any further communication from Stran. To submit a request, please contact us at stran.com/contact.
Third Party Resolution
If you do not receive timely acknowledgement of your complaint, or if your complaint is not satisfactorily addressed, you can also submit your complaint to PrivacyTrust an independent third party. Finally, as a last resort and in limited situations, individuals may invoke binding arbitration or seek redress from the Privacy Shield Panel, a binding arbitration mechanism. Stran remains liable in cases of onward transfer to third parties of Information received from EU individuals.
